Nitin Gaba has lived in 4 different countries and visited another 23 with an aim to visit at least 1 new country per year. He recently graduated with Distinction from Hult International Business School in London in the Global One-Year MBA program and is now pursuing a career in Consulting. In his first year of undergrad at the University of Toronto, Nitin played on the championship intramural ice hockey team continuing his childhood passion of playing hockey. Since 2015, he has joined friends in an annual New Year’s day tradition. Coined “The Winter Classic” the group plays ball hockey at Queen Elizabeth Park every year. He enjoys a round of golf and prides himself on his drive. He is the winner of ACTA tournament longest drive competition for the past 3 out of 4 years.
Nitin’s key qualities and achievements include:
– Oversaw the marketing function at Gaba Travel Ltd, managed the company website, and successfully overhauled the brand
– Launched and managed the Gaba Travel Ltd social media presence, by creating a company Facebook page, Twitter account, Google+ page, YouTube account, and a LinkedIn page with the Facebook page now at over 6700 likes
– Developed excellent management and project management skills as President of the Junior Achievement of British Columbia (JABC) Alumni Network and as Co-Founder of the company Expen Solutions.
Nitin holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing), which he earned through the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. His IT proficiency includes an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe CS Suite, Sony Vegas Pro 12. He has received numerous awards for superior performance. Nitin has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certification, Hootsuite University Certification and is certified Managerial Coach. He is also currently working towards his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. In addition, he was a licensed residential builder in the past and has held a Real Estate Trading Services License.
